Welcome to the final week and change of your deadland experience! We have cause to go day by day, so that's what we're gonna do!

Starting on Friday, every day you'll all find some new area or areas changed, somehow - what you'll find in them varies, but it looks like in addition to your daily lives here, the "ripples" White Hat mentioned are taking the form of... well, some fun little mysteries! Who's up for learning some lore? Or just continuing to live your life here, that's also an option.

[While Lif's dealing with the orb (because let's face it, Lif's better at this than Aela is), she's going to look around to see if there's anything else of interest here!]

[ Nothing else here! But the orb seems to agree to come with you guys - guess it's the area with the janitor that might be hiding the rest. ]

[A baton, huh...hm. Well, he's right between two areas that probably have more of their little orb friends. This is troubling, but.]

We can get to the kitchen when his back is turned. Not sure if I can say the same for the supply closet... [Hm.] If we could make a distraction, we might have a better shot at getting to both...

Let's focus on getting to the kitchen first. Ready?

[If so, once the Janitor's back is turned and they can get enough of a quiet start, let's go sneak into the kitchen!! Unless Aela has other ideas, of course.]

Yes, that makes sense. If need be, I can distract him so you can get into the kitchen.

[She snatched a sword earlier so she's totally here to fight the janitor!! That may not be the best option, but LET HER FIGHT.....]

Looks like we're going to have to deal with this man one way or another. [Lif's got the orbpals to take care of, so...as reluctant as he is to do this--] Aela. Can you provide a distraction for him, while I head to the supply closet? Whatever you deem fit; I'm going to try and get the last of these.

I certainly don't mind. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do.

Anyway, she's absolutely going to move to sneak away a bit so she can approach the janitor so his back is to Lif. Thankfully(?) she isn't going to launch into attacking him, but she is absolutely here and approaching so let's see how he reacts...??]

[ He seems... from the way he shifts his weight, it's easy to tell this guy is combat-trained and can tell something is Off but not exactly what. Just what does an application to be a janitor here look like, anyway...?

Should be enough of an opening for Lif, though! ]
