[Whether you've met an unfortunately end on the SS Swift, or deep in the depths, wrapped in the crushing tentacles of the kraken... You're not there anymore. You also don't seem to be dead. Maybe. It's difficult to tell, seeing as you no longer have any of the injuries you sustained on the ship... But you're also no longer on the ship.

Your eyes awaken to a cloudless sky, and a dry, dry, desert. A weak breeze struggles to blow even the dust from the cracked earth. There isn't a drop of water for miles around.

But what is around... is a ship. About a dozen yards away from where you've awoken is a tall, two-mast galleon, beached on the wastes, listing to the right.

How did it get here? Who knows. How did YOU get here?

Might be questions for a later time, seeing as you're waking up with your murderer.

Wouldn't be the first time someone tried to grill me like a hot weenie, though.

I'm afraid it was nothing like that. [She looks over at Allenby.] Allenby, are you...back to yourself, now?

[Adeline nods.] I don't think any of it was intended, but-it still happened, again.

This is a real depressing pattern, not gonna lie.

What happened?

[oceangirlfriend]

I don't know what happened exactly-Allenby and I were trying to relax at night, and she suggested a game of laser tag. In the middle, she suddenly turned violent and vicious and began throwing anything she could grab at me. I tried to evade her, but eventually...she caught up with me before I could get help.

[She rubs at her neck as she mentions that last part.]

A ship! I call dibs!

[Says the lanky young man currently sprinting towards the galleon, stumbling and slowing as he passes the newly dead, eventually coming to a stop.

Ah, barnacles. He can't just ignore that.]

Uhh, everyone else is welcome on board... whatever ship this is.

Call it the HMS Screw The Desert.

[Good question though, if he looks over the ship's hull can he spot a name anywhere?]

Indeed. We were suddenly transported onto a cruise ship in the middle of the ocean, under the command of someone who calls himself "Captain."

Yup, that sure does sound like the last place I was in.

Small world, huh? Sailing through the Caribbean with the captain and Davy Jones's undead crew wasn't exactly my idea of a pleasure cruise either.

Unfortunately small. [A pause.] Did you have anyone else trapped on the ship with you?
