[Whether you've met an unfortunately end on the SS Swift, or deep in the depths, wrapped in the crushing tentacles of the kraken... You're not there anymore. You also don't seem to be dead. Maybe. It's difficult to tell, seeing as you no longer have any of the injuries you sustained on the ship... But you're also no longer on the ship.

Your eyes awaken to a cloudless sky, and a dry, dry, desert. A weak breeze struggles to blow even the dust from the cracked earth. There isn't a drop of water for miles around.

But what is around... is a ship. About a dozen yards away from where you've awoken is a tall, two-mast galleon, beached on the wastes, listing to the right.

How did it get here? Who knows. How did YOU get here?

Might be questions for a later time, seeing as you're waking up with your murderer.

That seems right, yes.

We will likely draw their displeasure for getting some portion of whatever code pirates operate under incorrect, but... Well. Love and war.

Hey, we never said we were real pirates--just puttin' on the costume, that's all. Doesn't mean we have to follow any guidelines or such.

My earlier assessment remains: come to Dökkálfheimr sometime, after this is over. I would like to see how you would horribly break my realm in the interest of trying to escape it.

We'll need to draw it far enough away from wherever that ritual's finishing up. It can't be on the Swift, since that'll be sinking, so we need to look at where the Dutchman's trying to be and just make sure it's occupied and pulled away. After all, Calypso said LeChuck needs them.

The Dutchman, I assume, will be where it has been. There's no reason for them to believe that anything is going to happen to the Swift, much less that we're going to find a way to get back there and sink it. As far as they know at the moment, below the Swift remains safe harbor.
